Hi Everyone,
Live Bands!
My Greater Vancouver events list links to Annual Events, ongoing Jams, ongoing DJ Dances (many including Ballroom, Latin, and Swing lessons), Live Music Venues and Bands that various friends and I enjoy. Some special car shows and science fiction events are included and there are more links at the end.
The Band Info page lists cover bands that play Rock 'N' Roll, Rhythm 'N' Blues, Country, Swing and more. The new Indie bands with more types of music give a great variety of live entertainment options.

Jukebox site         Cheers,
        Doug Friesen

Framed Thomas Kinkade Prints

Rock of Salvation Rock of Salvation
I was struck, recently, by the gospel music phrase 'the rock of salvation' and suddenly felt myself challenged to present the phrase in one of my prints. Rock of Salvation will be the last creation in my Seaside Memories series. Though watching the sun set over this seven-year series of works is nostalgic and slightly bittersweet, I look forward to the sun rise of a new coastal series in the near future. - Thomas Kinkade

Perseverance Perseverance
In Perseverance; thunder crashes, sails billow, waves toss the fragile boat. We see that the clouds are about to break. The sea will calm; the sailor's perseverance will soon be rewarded by a return to God's safe heaven. Perhaps this painting can assure each of us that if we can simply persevere, God's hand of love will soon disperse each storm. - Thomas Kinkade
